Actilyse 20 mg contains alteplase, a thrombolytic medicine used in emergency hospital treatment to dissolve blood clots. Depending on the clinical indication and treatment protocol, alteplase is used for acute ischaemic stroke, acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and acute massive pulmonary embolism.
