Afanat 20 mg contains afatinib, a targeted cancer medicine used for selected cases of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It may be prescribed for metastatic NSCLC with specific epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations and, in certain cases, metastatic squamous NSCLC that has progressed after platinum-based chemotherapy.
